Job Description

Position: National Account Manager

Job Purpose

The primary objective of the National Account Manager is to manage and drive revenue growth within a portfolio of selected large corporate accounts. This role aims to secure market leadership in the large corporate segment through effective account management, strategic revenue enhancement, and profit maximization, while strictly adhering to budgetary guidelines, timelines, policies, and regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

  • Revenue Achievement:

    Attain the cluster's budgeted revenue targets across all VIBS (Vodafone Idea Business Services, implied) products from allocated Headquarter accounts.
  • New Business Acquisition:

    Achieve new order booking targets across all product lines.
  • Sales Quality & Margin Management:

    Enhance revenue by securing quality sales characterized by High Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and managing margins effectively within proposed tariff plans.
  • Account Growth & Development:

    Manage and expand existing revenue-generating 'farming' accounts while generating new revenue streams by upselling and cross-selling products and services to meet agreed targets.
  • Product Line Delivery:

    Meet specific targets for Mobility (Voice & Data) along with Fixed Line (FLX) order bookings and revenue.
  • New Account Acquisition:

    Successfully onboard new 'hunting' accounts as per targets for both Mobility and FLX, generate initial monthly revenues, and transition them into the farming category.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:

    Actively participate in generating a robust sales pipeline for large opportunities across Mobility, Fixed Line Data, and Voice services.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Take ownership of the internal coordination required to ensure seamless service delivery, project completion, and overall customer satisfaction.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience Required

  • Proven Sales Track Record:

    A demonstrable history of consistently meeting revenue, new business, and volume targets.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    In-depth knowledge of Corporate Sales methodologies and extensive experience in account management concepts.
  • Educational Background:

    • Graduation (Bachelors degree) is mandatory.
    • A full-time postgraduate qualification in Business Management (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
