MySQL DBA on AWS RDS

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gurgaon, HR for a MySQL DBA on AWS RDS. The MySQL DBA will be responsible for the administration, design, and troubleshooting of databases. Tasks include managing database replication, optimizing performance, ensuring data security, and supporting database infrastructure. The MySQL DBA will also work closely with development teams to ensure efficient and effective database solutions.

Experience level 3 to 5 years in MySQL and AWS RDS. Immediate Availability to start is required max notice in 15 days.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MySQL Database Administrator on AWS RDS.
• Good experience on AWS cloud.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database architecture and internals.
• Experience with performance tuning and complex query optimization.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and techniques.
• Good Understanding of MySQL master-slave replication, AWS database migration service.
• Good Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Good experience on migrating MySQL from On prem to AWS RDS vice versa.
• Good experience on MySQL RDS Installation, configuration, and upgradation.
• RDS snapshot migration from one RDS account to another.
• Additional Skills - Experience on Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo DB and windows.
