About the Role:

MySQL Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
MySQL databases
and schemas according to application requirements.
Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views to support application functionality.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune database performance to ensure high availability and efficiency.
Implement database security policies, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with software systems.
Assist in data migration, replication, and ETL processes.
Conduct data analysis and ensure database integrity and consistency.
Maintain comprehensive database documentation, standards, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
high-availability systems, clustering, and replication
in MySQL.
Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL).
Exposure to ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of other relational databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
