Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex MySQL database schemas, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views Write efficient, scalable, and well-optimized SQL queries Perform query performance analysis, indexing strategies, and tuning to improve database efficiency Review and optimize database execution plans and query costs Work closely with backend developers and DevOps teams for database integration in microservices or enterprise applications Troubleshoot and resolve database issues related to performance, data integrity, and security • Ensure database development practices comply with internal standards and best practices Contribute to evaluating and integrating new database-related tools and technologies Knowledge of cloud-based MySQL deployments (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL) is a plus Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with MySQL database development Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions Experience with database design, normalization, and indexing techniques Ability to analyse and interpret query execution plans and tune performance Basic understanding of backup, recovery, and replication strategies Familiarity with version control and CI/CD processes related to database scripts Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline Good to Have: • Exposure to Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL, or MongoDB • Knowledge of EPC/ Manufacturing /Renewable Energy domain • Experience with cloud database services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
