Job Description

As a MuleSoft Tech Lead, you will play a dual role leading a team of developers while remaining hands-on in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Java. You will provide technical leadership, set coding standards, perform design reviews, and guide the team in delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable integration solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Job Role Responsibilities

Lead and guide a team of MuleSoft developers while being actively involved in hands-on development.

Translate business and technical requirements into scalable integration designs and solutions.

Develop, test, and maintain complex integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Java.

Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns across the team.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure solution quality, performance, and security.

Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders on solution design and delivery.

Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues, ensuring smooth integration between enterprise systems.

Drive CI/CD practices, version control, and automation within the team.

Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Stay updated on MuleSoft advancements and recommend adoption of new features/approaches.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience

Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise integrations with systems such as ERP, CRM, CMS, HRMS, and Inventory Management.

Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, RAML, GraphQL, JSON, XML.

Solid understanding of messaging systems (Anypoint MQ, Kafka, JMS, Pub/Sub).

Proficiency in SQL, canonical data models, API management, OAuth, OpenID.

Experience with Git VCS and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
