Job Title: MST Engineer

Salary: ₹18,000 - ₹20,000 per month

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MST Engineer to join the Engineering Department at Fern Brentwood Resorts in Mussoorie. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the resort. The MST Engineer will work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth functioning of the property’s infrastructure and facilities, ensuring a high standard of service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, water supply, pumps, etc.) throughout the resort.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any system malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing tasks.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to address guest issues related to engineering, facilities, or room maintenance.
• Assist in managing inventory of engineering tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Support emergency maintenance and repairs as required, even outside regular working hours.
• Monitor energy consumption and work towards energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
• Ensure the upkeep of the resort’s technical systems to maintain high operational standards and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the engineering department and work areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or engineering, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in basic maintenance tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with resort or hotel operations is a plus.
• Good physical fitness for handling repair tasks and working in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holiday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
