MSL - Oncology

Role Overview: As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the field of oncology, your primary responsibility will be to establish the company's medical affairs presence with external stakeholders in the India region. You will focus on providing scientific exchange and research support for licensed and non-licensed products targeting hard-to-treat cancers. Your role will involve communicating balanced therapeutic area-related, product-related, and clinical information to physicians, academic institutions, and hospital formulary committees. Additionally, you will contribute to business success with a focus on patient safety. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate fair and balanced therapeutic area-related, product-related, and clinical information to external stakeholders. - Develop long-term peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders. - Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information and provide clinical and medical presentations as needed. - Support ongoing and future Medical Affairs Company-Sponsored Studies and investigator-initiated trials. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific/medical developments in the relevant therapeutic area. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop medical/scientific materials and execute regional medical affairs strategy. - Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and prioritize patient safety by following pharmacovigilance processes. - Support patient awareness initiatives and contribute to the Patient-In strategy to improve patient outcomes. Qualification Required: - Education: MBBS/MD/Pharm D - Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in oncology. - Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills. - Strong business acumen and ability to manage cross-functional projects effectively. - Leadership skills, emotional intelligence, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in English. - Ability to innovate and execute strategies effectively.
