Experience : 4+ Years


Responsibilities :

  • Installing and maintaining the MSSQL database software.
  • Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
  • Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  • Setting up database user accounts.
  • MSSQL cloud database experience with Training users on how to access the information in the database.
  • Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.
  • Creating autonomous database backups.
  • Regularly updating the database security protocols.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
  • Proven work experience as a Database administrator.
  • Familiarity with MSSQL database design, coding, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and API.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.
  • Maintaining database dictionaries and documents Job Control Language (JCL), SQL, Perl and shell scripts and batch processes;
  • Administering database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation;


DB2 Experience :

  • Reviewing project requests and determining rough order of magnitude estimate of time and cost required to accomplish scope;
  • Physical Database monitoring, management, performance tuning, Database user management ((Database schemas) for Microsoft SQL Database Server); configuration and operations;
  • Patches and Updates;
  • Performance and tuning (physical Databases);
  • Database user (Database schemas) administration and security;
  • Monitoring
  • Backup and restore.
  • Planning, provisioning and installations
  • Database level cluster / HA / Disaster Recovery management Note: All Database are hosted in Oracle cloud, hence required cloud MSSQL database knowledge required along with On-premises database knowledge.
