Role Overview:

MS Purview DLP Architect will provide deep functional and technical expertise in Microsoft Purview implementation, serving as the primary knowledge resource for data classification, governance policies, and platform optimization across the regional rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise & Implementation
2. Provide expert-level knowledge of MS Purview capabilities, features, and best practices.
3. Configure and customize Purview for specific regional requirements
4. Implement data classification schemes, sensitivity labels, and governance policies
5. Support Assessment, D&D (Define & Design), and Deploy & Test phases
6. Knowledge Management & Transfer
7. Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices
8. Conduct training sessions for regional teams and stakeholders
9. Create re-usable components and templates for efficient deployment
10. Support knowledge transfer activities during handover phases
11. Regional Implementation Support
12. Adapt MS Purview configurations for country-specific requirements
13. Support regional teams during deployment and testing phases
14. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolution guidance
15. Ensure consistent implementation standards across all regions
16. Continuous Learning & Improvement
17. Stay current with MS Purview updates, new features, and industry best practices
18. Participate in feedback loops and continuous improvement initiatives
19. Support BAU Team with ongoing monitoring and optimization
20. Contribute to organizational knowledge base and methodology improvements

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
2. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms
3. Deep technical knowledge of data classification, labeling and governance policies
4. Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure cloud services
5. Strong understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements
6. Experience in multi-region implementations and change management

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Microsoft Purview or related Microsoft certifications
2. Experience with GDPR compliance and European data regulations
3. Strong presentation and training delivery skills
