The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms and protocols, and a strong understanding of Layer 2/3 services.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and implement network solutions based on detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD)Deploy and troubleshoot IP/MPLS protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, and Segment RoutingImplement L2 & L3 services using VPLS, VPRN, and MP-BGPConfigure routers and switches via CLI across platforms like Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, and JuniperSet up and manage L2 VPN, L3 VPN, VPWS (epipe, apipe, cpipe), QoS policies, and basic router configurationsPerform NE integration, software uploads/upgrades, and backups on 7750 SR and 7250 IXR devicesMonitor and interpret network alarms for proactive issue resolutionRequired Skills & ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience in IP/MPLS network protocols and servicesProficiency in CLI-based configuration and troubleshootingIn-depth knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent 7750 SR and 7250 IXR platformsFamiliarity with QoS, VPN provisioning, and service-level configurationsAbility to interpret network alarms and logs for root cause analysisSolid understanding of network architecture and service delivery models Soft Skills & Work CultureDetail-oriented and methodical approach to network deploymentStrong problem-solving and analytical mindsetEffective communicator and team collaboratorWillingness to work in dynamic, multi-vendor environments
