MP, UP & CG Lead Safety (Logistics)

As a Lead Safety (Logistics), your role involves ensuring the safe movement of fleet and materials across logistics operations by developing and enforcing safety systems, standards, and culture. Your responsibilities will include: - Safety Management & Compliance - Ensure safe movement of fleet, drivers, and materials. - Define, implement, and maintain SOPs and Safety Guidelines. - Drive adherence to safety requirements. - Training & Capability Building - Conduct safety training sessions for vendors, drivers, and partners. - Build a culture of safety awareness and accountability. - Audits & Risk Assessment - Plan and execute safety audits for vehicles and logistics sites. - Conduct JRM and HIRA exercises to proactively mitigate risks. - Safety Initiatives & Continuous Improvement - Implement safety initiatives to reduce incidents and improve operational safety. - Analyze near-miss and incident data to drive preventive measures. - Collaborate with internal teams for safety integration in logistics planning. Your skills and competencies should include a strong understanding of transportation safety protocols, fleet management, and logistics operations. You should have experience in developing SOPs, JRM, and HIRA frameworks, as well as conducting safety audits, investigations, and training programs. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills are essential. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Certification in Safety Management, NEBOSH, or IOSH is preferred. Experience in industrial or logistics safety within Bio Energy, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing sectors is desirable.,
