Mortgage Underwriter

QRight Solutions is currently seeking Due Diligence - US Residential Mortgage Underwriters to join a US BPO in Chennai. We are looking to fill multiple positions including Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles, totaling 20 openings. The ideal candidate should possess a degree and have 1 to 7 years of underwriting experience. As a US Residential Mortgage Underwriter, your responsibilities will include reviewing loan applications to ensure all necessary documentation such as 1003, 1008, and credit reports are complete and accurate. You will assess the borrower's credit history, employment status, income, and debt levels, as well as confirm the property's value through appraisal reports. Additionally, you will evaluate credit reports to determine the borrower's creditworthiness, calculate debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, and loan-to-value (LTV) ratios. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing property valuations, appraisals, and alternative value products for conformity and accuracy. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines, is crucial. You will also be tasked with identifying potential risks and assessing the overall risk level of the loan. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund.
