Job Description

• Database Management: o Install, configure, and upgrade MongoDB databases. o Monitor database performance, availability, and health, and implement improvements as needed. o Perform database backup and recovery procedures. o Manage database users and permissions. • Optimization and Tuning: o Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques. o Perform capacity planning and ensure efficient use of database resources. o Conduct regular performance tuning and load testing. • Security: o Implement and manage database security measures, including encryption, authentication, and access controls. o Monitor and ensure compliance with data security standards and policies. • Support and Troubleshooting: o Provide support for database-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution. o Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries. o Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures. • Automation and Scripting: o Develop and maintain scripts for database automation tasks, such as backups, monitoring, and maintenance. o Utilize automation tools to streamline database operations. • Documentation: o Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices. o Document and communicate database changes to relevant stakeholders.
