Job Description

Molecular Biologist Specialist:

Location

Department

Roles & Responsibilities:

Execute advanced
molecular biology experiments
including
PCR
,
RT-PCR
,
DNA/RNA extraction
, and
sequencing
Conduct
genetic analysis
using
NGS platforms
such as
Illumina
or
Ion Torrent
Design, develop, and optimize
molecular diagnostic assays
for infectious, genetic, and chronic diseases
Collaborate with
clinical, bioinformatics, and research teams
to translate genomic insights into actionable clinical decisions
Ensure
regulatory compliance
, maintain detailed lab records, and uphold biosafety standards

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in a related science field such as biology, or genetics, followed by a Master's or, more commonly, a Doctorate (PhD)
2+ years
of hands-on experience in a
research or clinical lab setting
Proficient in
PCR
,
RT-PCR
,
DNA sequencing
, and
gene expression analysis
Experience with
NGS technologies
(Illumina, Ion Torrent) is highly desirable
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams
