Job Description

·      Independently assess the conceptual framework, methodology, data, and implementation of models.

·      Validate models using Statistical and Machine Learning methods

·      Suggesting and proposing changes in Models

·      Evaluate potential risks associated with model usage and performance, including financial, operational, and reputational risks

·      Conduct independent performance reviews, back-testing and benchmarking.

·      Ensure compliance with RBI and other regulatory standards

·      Collaborate with model development team, compliance, audit, and risk teams.

Maintain clear, auditable documentation of validation processes and findings.

Education

BE, B.Tech, B. Statistcs or Masters degree in given

Specialized Knowledge

Model Validation

Skill Set (Must)

  • Strong foundation in statistics, data science or quantitative finance
  • Good understanding of financial risks and regulatory expectations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Skill Set (Desired)

 

Technical Skill

Proficiency in Python, Advanced Excel including VBA, Power BI

Professional Certificate (If Any)

 

Experience Range

  • 5-8 yrs of Experience in model validation or development in the banking or financial services sector
