This role requires a solid understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, database testing, and BDD concepts, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
You will work closely with engineering teams, product owners, and QA leadership to ensure high-quality, scalable test automation across web, mobile, and API layers.
Execute mobile automation using Appium with hands-on exposure to AWS Device Farm.
Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java, BDD, Maven/Gradle, and version control systems.
Develop Gherkin feature files and automate acceptance criteria using Cucumber.
Perform end-to-end REST API test automation and validation.
Work with GitLab or similar source code repositories for versioning and integration.
Perform database testing using JDBC, Hibernate, or Spring JDBC.
Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Xray for test management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Strong REST API automation skills.
Experience with GitLab, Git version control, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Strong understanding of BDD concepts, Gherkin, and automation frameworks.
Experience with databases using JDBC/Hibernate/Spring JDBC.
Hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Xray.
Excellent communication, ownership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
