Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with state/district MIS officers to develop and implement a regular reporting plan for ongoing projects.
  • Perform weekly data checks from the field and provide actionable feedback to relevant teams, including the Impact team.
  • Monitor the health of the project data on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Data Compilation & Analysis:

  • Compile monthly outreach reports for the region and collaborate with the Head Office (HO) team to ensure consistency.
  • Review reports received from external agencies, providing second-level analysis for accuracy and completeness.
  • Build and maintain project dashboards for continuous monitoring and real-time updates.

Database Management:

  • Manage and maintain regional data, ensuring databases are updated and functioning as a reliable data bank.
  • Collect, organize, and manage data related to session delivery, attendance, and the number of sessions conducted.
  • Regularly analyze project data and present findings to location managers, program managers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with location managers to ensure timely and accurate data reporting on a weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis.
  • Participate in district/state-level reviews and submit relevant reports as per project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Impact Managers and Program Managers to conduct periodic project reviews and assessments.

System Maintenance & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with data reporting processes and ensure data quality during field visits.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of project data and ensure that all data reporting processes are in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks and provide detailed analytics reports to management to ensure the accuracy and relevance of reported information.

Training & Development:

  • Facilitate periodic training sessions for project staff on MIS systems and M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) processes.
  • Provide ongoing support to project teams to ensure smooth and efficient use of data management tools and processes.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Continuously work to improve data reporting processes and suggest improvements for better data management.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the goals and objectives of the team and organization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Advanced features, including VBA macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation languages such as SQL, STATA, and Google Script.
  • Ability to clean, process, and store data effectively, preferably on cloud platforms.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret and present complex data from multiple perspectives.
  • Experience in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to conceptualize and build operational dashboards to track and monitor key program indicators.

Project Management & Communication:

  • Strong project management skills with a good understanding of both operational and program-level data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving & Initiative:

  • Ability to identify problems at the ground level and propose effective solutions using data insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in a relevant field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, MIS, and documentation, preferably in education or development programs.
  • Previous experience in the NGO or education sector will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • A strong "can-do" attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • A willingness to travel to field locations for monitoring and compliance checks as required.
