MIS Coordinator

• MIS (Management Information System) Coordinator's job is to manage and oversee an organization's information systems to ensure data accuracy, support decision-making, and improve operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include maintaining databases, generating reports, analyzing data, and ensuring data integrity and security across various departments. Core duties
• Data management: Maintain, update, and manage all project and organizational data on the relevant MIS portal or software.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze data to identify trends, create reports, and develop dashboards that support management decision-making.
• System implementation: Assist in developing and implementing information systems and ensure smooth data collection and entry from the field.
• User support and training: Train other project staff on data management systems and M&E (monitoring and evaluation) tools.
• Data validation and accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of stored data by validating information from multiple sources.
• Process optimization: Identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
• Liaison: Coordinate with different departments and stakeholders to align IT systems with business goals and resolve issues. Essential skills and qualifications
• Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, database management systems, and potentially data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is often required.
• Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for coordinating with different teams and providing training.
• Organizational skills: Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required, along with a few years of experience in project management or data management.
