Position Summary:

MIS Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting (Focus: Advanced Excel)

• Design and Maintenance of Advanced Excel Models:

  Independently develop, implement, and manage highly complex, dynamic reporting templates and models using

  VBA/Macros, Power Query (Get & Transform Data), Power Pivot, and advanced array formulas

  (e.g., $SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, $XLOOKUP, $OFFSET, $INDIRECT$).

• Dashboard Development:

  Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards for senior management using Excel charting and slicers to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor business trends in real-time.

• Data Validation and Integrity:

  Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reported data through rigorous validation checks and reconciliation processes.

• Automation:

  Utilize Excel VBA/Macros to automate repetitive reporting tasks, significantly reducing turnaround time and minimizing manual errors.

• Ad-hoc Reporting:

  Respond quickly and accurately to specialized data requests from various stakeholders and departments.

MIS Operations and Support

• Gather and define reporting requirements from end-users, translating business needs into technical specifications and effective reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and departmental teams to streamline data extraction processes from source systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS).
• Maintain a repository of all official reports, ensuring proper documentation, version control, and accessibility.
• Train and support staff on standardized reporting tools and basic Excel best practices.

Communication and Insight

• Analyze data trends and anomalies, preparing clear, concise summaries and presentations that highlight key findings and business implications.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
• Present reports and findings to management and cross-functional teams in a professional and easy-to-understand manner.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel Expertise (Mandatory):

  Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with complex, multi-sheet, and multi-source Excel workbooks, specifically including:

• VBA Programming and Macro Development.

• Power Query (M Language) and Data Modeling/Relational Data in Power Pivot (DAX).

• Expert use of advanced formulas, logical functions, and array formulas.

• Working knowledge of SQL

  or other database querying languages is a significant asset.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Professional Skills:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience:

  3+ years of progressive experience in an MIS, Reporting, or Data Analyst role.

• Analytical Thinking:

  Exceptional ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data and present findings clearly.

• Attention to Detail:

  Meticulous and highly organized approach to data validation and report generation.

• Communication:

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex data to non-technical audiences.
