 J o b P u r p o s eThe Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licensing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's Microsoft Dynamics 365 software licenses. In addition to ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing license usage, and providing expertise on licensing options and best practices, the Licensing Specialist will also work to simplify the security role structure with Dynamics 365.J o b C o n t e x tWorking as a member of the Business Systems team, you will engage with colleagues to ensure both new and existing users are appropriately licensed. In addition, you will work with the Business Systems team to ensure Dynamics user roles accurately reflect the day-today activities of the users, and that standard user roles within the system attract to lowest possible license cost.J o b D i m e n s i o n sNumber of direct reporting staff: None.Reporting To: D365 Solution Architect – Technical.There is no direct financial responsibility, however this role directly influences the cost of Dynamics 365 operations.K e y A c c o u n t a b i l i t i e s

These Will Include

• Manage Microsoft licensing agreements and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Conduct regular audits of software usage and licenses to optimize expenditures.
• Provide guidance on licensing options and cost-effective solutions for various departments.
• Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to manage license renewals and purchases.
• Stay updated with changes in licensing models and Microsoft product offerings.
• Ensure Purchase Orders for Dynamics licenses are processed in accordance with Lucy purchasing policies
• Ensure Dynamics licenses are correctly applied to user profiles.
• Develop standardised and simplified user roles within Dynamics 365, ensuring these fit within appropriate license types.

• Proven experience in managing Microsoft licenses and understanding of Microsoft Volume Licensing programs.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
