MERN Stack Developer (1–3 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-quality, scalable web applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to develop new features, enhance existing modules, and maintain overall application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature implementation and improvements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
• Ensure UI/UX consistency and mobile responsiveness

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and modern frontend workflows
• Solid understanding of React.js, hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Mongoose schemas, and aggregation pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and security best practices
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and testable code
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
• Understanding of Redux, Recoil, or other state management libraries
• Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
• Experience working in Agile environments
