As a Garment Export Merchandiser with 3+ years of experience, your role involves managing the end-to-end process of exporting garments to international markets. Utilizing your strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, you will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely production, quality assurance, and compliance with international trade regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and analyze customer orders, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and timelines. - Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of export orders. - Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, providing updates on order status, production schedules, and addressing inquiries. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality standards. - Prepare and manage all export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. - Work to optimize costs while maintaining product quality and meeting customer expectations. - Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure exported garments meet customer specifications. - Stay informed about international market trends, competitor activities, and changes in customer preferences. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Fashion, or a related field. - 3 - 5 + years of experience in garment export merchandising. - Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools for order and documentation management.
