Merchandiser Baby & Mother Care Essentials

You are looking for a Merchandiser to assume complete ownership of the baby and mother care category within the expanding retail and digital presence, including the brand website and relevant online marketplaces. This strategic role, based at the Hyderabad corporate office, is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with products, pricing, planning, and performance to create a retail experience focused on parents that merges care and commerce. In this role, your responsibilities will include managing assortments across various categories such as baby care, maternity, hygiene, wellness, nutrition, and parenting essentials. You will collaborate with both internal and external brands to establish a robust and evolving product mix, along with planning visibility, planogram layouts, new launches, and seasonal rotations. Additionally, you will work closely with digital teams to ensure accurate listings, content, pricing, and catalog quality on the brand website and external marketplaces. Monitoring product performance and consumer behavior will be crucial in informing digital promotions and assortment decisions, while also aligning inventory and pricing strategies across physical and digital channels. You will be expected to track product movement and category performance across all formats, develop and implement strategies for liquidation, discounting, and markdowns, and plan structured SKU exit strategies. Collaborating with marketing and operations teams to synchronize campaigns and sales cycles will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position should have 3-6 years of experience in merchandising or category management, preferably in baby care, FMCG, lifestyle, or omnichannel retail. Strong analytical and planning skills, exposure to both offline and digital retail ecosystems, proficiency in managing vendor relations, assortment planning, pricing, and performance tracking are essential. A customer-centric mindset understanding the needs of modern parents is highly valued, and being based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate is required.
