Merchandiser

As a Production Planning Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement production plans to meet customer orders and deadlines. You will need to collaborate with different departments such as design, production, and quality control to ensure a smooth workflow and timely execution. Monitoring production progress and proactively addressing any issues or delays will be crucial in this role. In terms of sourcing and costing, you will be required to identify and select suppliers of raw materials, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive costs. Conducting cost analysis and keeping production costs within budget will also be part of your responsibilities. Quality control is a key aspect of this position. You will need to ensure that products meet quality standards throughout the production process, work closely with the quality control team to address any issues, and implement measures to prevent defects and maintain product integrity. Managing the development and production of samples for new products or styles will also fall under your purview. It will be important to ensure that samples meet quality and design requirements, as well as coordinate with the design team for any necessary revisions. Maintaining open communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams, providing regular updates on production progress, and collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations are essential aspects of this role. Inventory management will also be part of your responsibilities, including monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring sufficient inventory to meet production needs, and managing inventory storage and handling to prevent damage or loss. Coordinating the shipping of finished goods to customers, ensuring timely and quality shipments, managing shipping costs and logistics to minimize expenses will also be among your duties. This is a full-time job based in Gurgaon, Haryana, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English is necessary, and the work location is in person.,
