MEPF SPOC

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable MEPF designer capable of designing and

leading our workspace projects. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth design &

communication between clients, design teams, project managers, and site teams

while maintaining high levels of technical quality and timely delivery.

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the MEP Technical Lead to create Concept design, tender

submissions,  and client discussions, responsible for formulating the MEP

strategy and execution plan.

• Preparing pitch concept and assisting in costing for winning Design & Build

project. This involves understanding client requirements and proposing "the

best design to cost" meeting this requirement.

• Proactively identify and resolve technical design, ensuring that the MEP

systems enhance the user experience and support our rapid construction

timeline (Speeding up construction).

• Design high-efficiency, compact, and standardized HVAC solutions (e.g.,

decentralized split/VRF systems, ventilation) suitable for modular integration,

focusing on energy performance and seamless mechanical connection points

between modules.

• Design and development of electrical systems, including lighting, power

distribution (LV panels, circuits), fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems.

• Execute and validate detailed engineering calculations, including Heat load

calculations (ASHRAE/IS standards), duct sizing, fan selection, and air flow

distribution plans.

• Execute and validate electrical Load schedules, space planning short-circuit

calculations, cable sizing.  Voltage drop analysis, lighting lux levels, and

earthing/lightning protection is an added advantage..

• Preparing space planning layouts, RCP, DBR with support from

the design team.

• Work intensively with the Architect, Client, PM to ensure the MEP systems

integrate seamlessly into the interior, upholding our Team Spirit core value.

• BOM & Quality Check: Generate, verify, and check the accuracy of Bills of

Materials (BOM) and technical specifications.

• Drawing & Documentation Check: Be the final check authority for

all design layouts, shop drawings, and as-built documents to ensure

compliance with relevant international (IEC, ASHRAE, etc.) and national

codes.

• Support site teams with RFIs/design clarifications and monitor installation

quality.

• Participate in site inspections, weekly meetings & provide solutions for site

level coordination & technical issues.

• Maintain documentation, deliverables trackers, and prepare progress reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills Required

1. Strong working knowledge of:

• HVAC systems (heat load, VRF, PAC, ventilation, Chillers)

• Electrical systems (DB design, UPS, lighting, controls)

• Fire Fighting systems (Sprinklers, hydrants, NFPA/NBC basics)

• PHE (Water supply, drainage, pump sizing)

• BMS/IBMS integrations

2. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit MEP is an added advantage.

3. Tools: MS Office,HAP, E-Tap(Optional).

4. Familiarity with NBC, IS standards, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NFPA
