MEP Supervisor

The main responsibilities of this role include verifying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) received from the Design Department to ensure that all electrical materials are available as specified. In case of any discrepancies, you should promptly report them for further action. You will be required to prepare and submit purchase requests for electrical materials, including the necessary quantities based on the electrical layout and site requirements. These purchase requests will need to be sent to the supervisor for placing orders with the purchase department. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with the purchase department to ensure timely delivery of materials and oversee their correct usage. This will involve checking electrical drawings and executing electrical works according to the specifications provided. You should also be able to explain to contractors the correct procedures for carrying out the work. As part of your role, you will supervise electrical work on-site and liaise with site engineers for work coordination and material delivery. You will also be responsible for coordinating electrical work during the inauguration of new stores, ensuring proper electrical wiring for lighting, intercom systems, and other electrical components. Furthermore, you will need to take final electrical measurements with contractors upon completion of work to ensure compliance with company and industry guidelines. This will involve preparing electrical load details, finalizing UPS and DG capacity based on the load requirements. In addition to these responsibilities, you will act as an electrical inspector for MGD project works and liaise with the KSEB department. You will also be responsible for checking electrical bills for accuracy, including rates and site certification. Moreover, you will be accountable for electrical maintenance work on-site by reviewing blueprints or technical diagrams. Troubleshooting electrical issues using relevant testing devices will also be part of your duties. Lastly, you will perform joint measurements of work and verify contractors" execution bills to ensure the proper completion of work. This role is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers.
