MEP Engineer (Residential Projects)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Supervision

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all MEP works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, HVAC) in line with project timelines.

• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Coordination & Planning

• Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams for smooth MEP integration.

• Conduct regular site meetings to resolve design or execution conflicts.

• Prepare work schedules and allocate manpower efficiently.

• Quality & Safety

• Ensure all MEP installations comply with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Conduct inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.

• Material & Cost Control

• Verify and approve material requisitions for MEP works.

• Ensure minimal wastage and adherence to budgeted costs.

• Testing & Commissioning

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems to the client/maintenance team.

• Ensure snag-free completion before handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of proven MEP experience in

  real estate residential projects

  (apartments/villas).
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems.
• Proficiency in reading MEP drawings and coordinating with civil teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
