Job Title: MEP BIM Manager / MEP BIM Coordinator

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Qualification: Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech - Mechanical/ Electrical

Role Overview:

The MEP BIM Manager / Coordinator will handle BIM modeling, MEP coordination, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. The role involves preparing accurate models, conducting clash detection, and coordinating with architects, structural consultants, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage MEP BIM models using Revit or similar BIM software.
• Review MEP drawings and models for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate issue resolution.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural teams.
• Prepare coordinated MEP shop drawings.
• Attend design and coordination meetings.
• Support site teams to ensure installations match coordinated drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design-related issues.
• Maintain BIM execution plan, logs, and coordination reports.
• Prepare weekly progress and clash reports.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of MEP services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-Fighting).
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial projects, hospitals, or interior fit-out.
• Experience with MEP consultants or contracting companies.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
