Job Description

Position - MEP Billing Engineer

Experience - 8-10 Years

Location - Jaipur (VT Road Mansarovar)

Site Measurement

Perform daily/weekly measurements of MEP works executed at the site (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV etc.)
Maintain accurate records of executed quantities using Measurement Books and Excel.
Cross-verify measurements with drawings and BOQ

Billing Preparation

Prepare subcontractor running/final bills based on actual work done.
Assist in preparation of RA (Running Account) bills for client submission.
Ensure that billed quantities match the site execution and BOQ line items.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain measurement sheets, MB, joint measurement records
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly quantity reports.
Prepare abstract sheets for billing summarizing all billed quantities and costs.

Verification and Reconciliation

Verify subcontractor bills and ensure that overbilling or duplicate billing is avoided.
Reconcile material consumption vs. work executed on-site.
Prepare material and quantity reconciliation statements regularly.

Drawing and BOQ Review

Study GFC and BOQ, and tender documents.
Highlight any variations or deviations in actual execution compared to BOQ.

Progress Tracking

Assist planning team with actual vs. planned progress updates.

Change Orders / Variations

Identify and record variations or extra items beyond the original scope.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure that only quality-compliant and approved work is considered for billing.
Work with QA/QC team to validate work before measurement and billing.
