Youll support Riverbed Portal across a broad customer base and play a pivotal role in shaping the products future. What you will doDesign, implement, and unit test Riverbed Portal features, taking full end-to-end responsibility for feature success throughout the development lifecycle.Translate requirements and user stories into detailed design specifications and high-quality code.Own and manage the delivery of complex technical products, spanning both front-end and back-end services.Work within an agile development environment, adhering to a regular release cadence.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve product issues and capabilities.Continuously enhance performance, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product.Collaborate with cross-functional Riverbed teams on various cross-product features and initiatives.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into the development process What makes you an ideal candidateBachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience3+ years of professional hands-on software engineering experienceUnderstanding of data structures and problem-solving approaches, and ability to articulate trade-offsStrong working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design & DevelopmentExpertise in Java, Kotlin, Spring/ Spring Boot as well as industry-standard tools and frameworksExperience with any modern JavaScript framework or libraries (Angular preferred)Experience building well-designed, robust, and scalable RESTful APIsExperience in Database like Postgres/ MySQL and/or any modern databaseImprove code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and code reviewsExperience in source code versioning and migration tools like github, Jenkins.Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologiesProactive, able to unblock yourself if neededStrong geographically distributed cross-team communication skills What we offerOur employee benefits including flexible workplace policies, employee resource groups, learning and development resources, career progression pathways, and community engagement initiatives are some of the reasons why we have had great success in bringing in new talent.
