Member of Technical Staff

As a part of the Edge computing product engineering team at Riverbed, you will have the opportunity to work on various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC, and NFS across different enterprise-level storage arrays and block and file storages with popular cloud service providers. You will design, implement, and unit test Edge computing product features with end-to-end responsibility for feature success throughout the development lifecycle. Troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing in-market product capabilities will also be a part of your responsibilities. Collaboration across Riverbed teams on various cross-product Steelcentral controller and SteelHead features and initiatives is essential. Working in an agile environment with a regular release cadence and closely with the Riverbed engineering team in Bangalore will be key aspects of your role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC, and NFS across different enterprise-level storage arrays - Design, implement, and unit test Edge computing product features - Troubleshoot, debug, and fix in-market product capabilities - Collaborate across Riverbed teams on various cross-product Steelcentral controller and SteelHead features and initiatives - Work in an agile environment with a regular release cadence **Qualifications Required:** - 3+ years of professional hands-on software engineering experience - Domain knowledge in Linux, Windows, and knowledge in one of the virtualization/storage protocols/Filesystems/snapshot & backup/replication technologies - Experience in applications built over various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC/NFS - Experience with Block Storage - Experience with Filesystem development like NFS/CIFS/SMB - Deep understanding of Linux (ext4) and Windows Filesystems (NTFS/ReFS) or VMFS Riverbed offers flexible workplace policies, employee resource groups, learning and development resources, career progression pathways, and community engagement initiatives as part of its employee benefits.
