About the Role:-

Medical Transcriptionist

Key Responsibilities:-

• Listen to voice recordings of doctors and healthcare professionals and transcribe them into written medical documents.
• Prepare and edit patient history, discharge summaries, operative notes, consultation reports, and other clinical documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in documents as per medical terminology and hospital formats.
• Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in dictations and clarify doubts with concerned doctors if required.
• Maintain confidential patient information as per hospital policies and data protection guidelines.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of assigned reports.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and medical staff for clarifications and updates.
• Keep updated with medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and treatment methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

• Graduate in any stream (Medical/Paramedical preferred).
• Certification or diploma in Medical Transcription will be an added advantage.
• Minimum

  1–3 years of medical transcription experience

  (hospital experience preferred).
• Strong command over English language, grammar, and medical terminology.
• Excellent listening and typing skills (high typing speed & accuracy).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality ethics.
