Key Responsibilities: Prepare, label, and test samples, solutions, and reagents under controlled conditions. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, microscopes, spectrophotometers). Record and analyze data accurately and maintain detailed logs of laboratory procedures and findings. Assist in conducting experiments and research projects as directed by senior staff or scientists. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work areas. Adhere to all laboratory health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot equipment when necessary. Manage inventory of lab supplies and place orders as needed. Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries, and documentation for research or quality control purposes. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field. Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional) preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and best practices. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in a laboratory setting. May involve exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and laboratory equipment. Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
