X-Ray Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as requested by physicians.

• Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

• Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure their comfort during examinations.

• Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.

• Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Record, store, and organize imaging results in patient records or electronic medical systems.

• Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the radiology department.

• Adhere to hospital/clinic policies, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent certification.

• Valid license/registration as an X-Ray Technician (as per local regulatory requirements).

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and safety standards.

• Proficiency in using imaging equipment and digital imaging software.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
