Medical Transcriptionist

Position: Medical Transcriptionist

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Ultrasound Scanning

Location: KTCT Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and prepare accurate and timely medical reports from ultrasound scanning findings.

• Listen to recorded dictations from radiologists and convert them into well-structured medical documents.

• Verify ultrasound terminology, clinical details, and patient information for accuracy.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow all hospital privacy protocols.

• Coordinate with radiologists, technicians, and other medical staff for clarifications and report updates.

• Ensure all ultrasound reports are completed and submitted within the required timelines.

• Manage report formatting, proofreading, and correction of errors before final submission.

• Maintain digital records and assist in organizing patient files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in ultrasound scanning / radiology transcription.

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound medical terms and imaging report formats.

• Excellent listening, typing, and proofreading skills.

• Good command over English and medical vocabulary.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple reports efficiently.

• Familiarity with hospital information systems and digital reporting tools.
