Schedule Embryo Transfers, Embryo Retrievals, Frozen Eggs Cycles and Intrauterine Insemination, under supervision of Clinician. - Assess patients plan and implementation of care. - To explain to the customer the whole IVF treatment process step by step. - To educate patients on individual treatment plans, medication instruction (schedule, dosage and administration) anticipatory guidance, clarification of physician instructions. - To perform patient and family education. - To instruct patients on how to administer the fertility medications, including how to administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. - To have close contact with patients to follow the treatment plan. - To assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards. - To know the basics of embryology, andrology, endocrinology, gynaecology, obstetrics, genetics and information technology. - To provide support in consultation and transvaginal scanning. - To be aware of the O.T. protocols and the layout. - To supervise carbolisation and ensure it is done regularly and effectively. - To periodically monitor the use of disinfectants. - To identify instruments as per the surgery, check cleanliness and proper functioning of instruments, pack and send for autoclaving / gas sterilization. - To ensure that all the materials needed for the surgeries and instrument sets, Linen, Gowns, etc., are available. - To check the instrument trolley carefully and record items likely to be left inside. - To receive the patient in the preoperative area, check for the right patient, correct documents, and for the right procedure and transfer to the Operation Theatre. - To accompany IP patients for investigations, if advised. - To follow pre-anaesthetic medications if any. - To check the preparation of the patient for cleanliness, skin shaving for the procedure.
