Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Listen to and transcribe medical dictations into reports, letters, and other documents.
Assist doctors during patient encounters by documenting real-time medical information into the EHR system.
Review and edit drafts prepared by speech recognition software.
Ensure accuracy of patient information, medical terminology, and diagnostic data.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient data as per HIPAA guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality documentation.
Meet productivity and turnaround time (TAT) requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of
medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
Excellent command of
English (written and verbal).
Typing speed: minimum
50–60 WPM
with high accuracy.
Proficiency in
EHR systems
(e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena) preferred.
Ability to work in
US shifts (EST/PST)
.
Detail-oriented with strong listening and comprehension skills.
