ERP Coordinator-

Job Summary:

ERP Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Implementation & Support:

    • Assist in the installation, configuration, and implementation of ERP systems for different business functions (inventory, production, finance, etc.).
    • Monitor the performance of the ERP system and provide timely technical support.
    • Work closely with external ERP vendors and internal IT teams to resolve any system issues and maintain uptime.
  • Inventory Management via ERP:

    • Oversee the integration of inventory data into the ERP system and ensure accuracy.
    • Manage stock levels, reorder points, and inventory tracking in collaboration with other departments.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory data within the ERP system.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation & Maintenance:

    • Create and update Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system, ensuring all components are accurately listed.
    • Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure BOMs are aligned with production requirements and material availability.
    • Ensure that BOMs are continuously updated for new products or revisions to existing products.
  • System Integration & Data Flow:

    • Ensure smooth integration of ERP with other internal systems (e.g., accounting, HR, production management).
    • Implement changes to improve data flow between departments to ensure real-time and accurate information.
    • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Training & Documentation:

    • Provide ERP system training to new and existing staff, ensuring they are proficient in using the system for their roles.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation on ERP system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Process Optimization:

    • Evaluate existing ERP workflows and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize resource allocation and minimize operational bottlenecks
    • Collaborate with other IT staff and business units to streamline processes through ERP enhancements.
  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Generate ERP-based reports on inventory levels, production performance, and other key metrics.
    • Analyze data from the ERP system and present actionable insights to help management improve decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ERP implementation, support, and maintenance within an IT department.
    • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of ERP systems, including implementation, customization, and support.
    • Knowledge of inventory control processes and integration with ERP systems.
    • Experience in creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM) within an ERP system.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration and end-user training.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in ERP software configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
    • Familiarity with database management and querying tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access).
    • Experience with data analytics and generating reports from ERP data.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
    • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and ERP system updates.
