Job Description

Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Developer with 12+ years of experience to contribute to the implementation and development of a Digital Certificate Management Platform . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python , backend services , cloud integration , and a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts , especially in the realm of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and digital certificates . This individual will be responsible for developing robust backend systems, integrating with cloud environments , HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) , and digital certificate systems . Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Python and frameworks like Django , Flask , or Robyn . Design and implement robust, scalable backend systems for handling certificate lifecycle management (issuance, renewal, revocation). Configure and manage reverse proxies and load balancing using tools like NGINX for secure and optimized traffic handling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with Certificate Authorities , HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) , and cloud-based solutions . Manage databases (SQL like PostgreSQL , MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB ) and ensure seamless integration with backend services. Implement security best practices, such as authentication , authorization , encryption , and audit logging . Build and maintain RESTful APIs for interacting with certificate management systems. Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in code reviews , mentoring junior developers, and ensuring code quality across the product. Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices and processes. Perform unit testing , integration testing , and contribute to test automation frameworks. Required Skills 12+ years of professional experience in Python development, with strong experience in Django , Flask , or Robyn . Extensive experience with backend services and building RESTful APIs . Strong experience working with databases (SQL like PostgreSQL , MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB ). Proficient in NGINX configuration, including reverse proxying, TLS termination, and performance tuning. Familiarity with digital certificates , PKI , SSL/TLS , and managing public/private keys . Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and integrating with cloud-based services (e.g., cloud databases, secret management systems, or cloud HSM). Knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques, such as OAuth2 , JWT , and RBAC . Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and other version control tools. Expertise in designing secure, scalable backend services and ensuring data protection. Strong knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) using: unittest, pytest, or nose2 for unit testing pytest-django or pytest-flask for integration testing (where applicable) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) , PKI , or digital signature technologies. Exposure to cloud-native technologies such as serverless architecture , Docker , and Kubernetes . Familiarity with Linux-based environments and containerization tools. Experience in DevOps and infrastructure-as-code approaches. Knowledge of DevSecOps , ensuring security is embedded throughout development. Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) , CISSP , or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are a plus. Education Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science , Information Security , or related field. Security-related certifications (e.g., CISSP , CEH ) are a plus.
