A Business Development Officer (also called a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative) is a professional who is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to Doctors healthcare professionals, such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff. The role involves a mix of sales, marketing, and relationship management. Here’s a breakdown of the job:

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Promotion & Sales:
• Present and promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
• Focus on increasing sales by educating healthcare professionals about the benefits and usage of the product.
• Demonstrate how the product can improve patient outcomes, emphasizing key features and benefits.
• Building Relationships:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Doctors & healthcare professionals to foster trust and ensure continued business.
• Engage in regular follow-ups with clients to ensure product satisfaction, answer queries, and gather feedback.
• Market Research & Analysis:
• Analyze market trends and competitor products to understand the demand and adapt the sales pitch accordingly.
• Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and regulations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
• Sales Targets & Reporting:
• Achieve sales targets set by the company and report sales activities to management on a regular basis.
• Prepare and submit sales reports, providing insights into the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
• Medical Camps:
• Conduct Medical Camp sessions for healthcare professionals to explain the products in detail.
• Provide information on dosage, administration, and any other relevant product data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹35,421.00 per month
