Job Description

Were seeking an enthusiastic professional with 6-8 years experience of medical device marketing & sales in the Indian market, to own demand generation and brand growth for medical devices in India, while driving targeted sales outcomes. This role is emphasizes on marketing strategy, digital demand generation, content creation, KOL engagement, HCP education & market intelligence while driving sales outcomes through distributor enablement, pipeline management, tenders, demos & key account penetration.

Role:

  1. Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, customer segments, price positioning and unmet needs in the Indian healthcare ecosystem (corporate hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, diagnostics, home care).
  2. Manage the full marketing lifecycle for designated devices: positioning, messaging, launch planning, demand generation, maturity management and phase-out.
  3. Plan & lead product launches: pricing strategy, channel strategy, launch kits, training plans, and omnichannel campaigns.
  4. Create marketing assets including clinical value stories, digital content, brochures, case studies, explainer videos, objection-handling guides, tender spec sheets, training modules, FAQs and sales playbooks.
  5. Identify KOLs/HCPs, coordinate CMEs/workshops/demos/trials; manage conference presence, societies, and lead nurturing from MQL to SQL conversion.
  6. Execute site demos/trials, close deals with measurable outcomes; onboard/coach distributors, enforce pricing/margin discipline, and track funnel metrics/win-loss data.
  7. Develop and execute annual/quarterly GTM plans: product positioning, competitive benchmarking, pricing strategies, and segment-specific campaigns across digital (SEO/SEM, email, LinkedIn, webinars), events, and hospital outreach.
  8. Support sales forecasting, pricing inputs and promotion plans; track funnel metrics, winloss data and campaign ROI to refine strategy.
  9. Enable distributors with trainings, co-marketing plans, performance dashboards; conduct market intelligence on sizing, competitors, tenders, and reimbursement to inform strategy.
  10. Own sales targets, pipeline forecasting, CRM hygiene (Zoho/Salesforce); penetrate corporate hospitals/government accounts via demos, evaluations, tender participation (GEM portal), and decision-maker mapping.
  11. Assist in creation and monitoring of sales incentive schemes, product-mix targets and territory-level marketing initiatives to accelerate adoption.shine+1
  12. Oversee & ensure regulatory compliance in all marketing & sales activities.
  13. Collaborate with Regulatory, Clinical, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate, approved product messaging and availability for launches and major campaigns.
  14. Leverage tools like HubSpot/Mailchimp/Zoho Campaigns for automation, Power BI/Excel for analytics, Google Analytics for web tracking, and Microsoft 365 for collaboration.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors in Biomedical/Engineering/Life Sciences/Pharmacy or Business;

2. MBA/PG in Marketing preferred.

3. 6–8 years in medical devices (consumables/capital/diagnostics), with demonstrated marketingfirst responsibilities plus frontline sales.

4. Excellent English communication skills

5. Experience of hospital procurement & tender processes, managing distributor & retailer relationships and eCommerce sales

6. Understanding of MDR 2017 and other regulations that apply to medical devices

7. Handson with digital marketing (SEO/SEM, email, webinars, social); content creation for clinical/procurement audiences.
