Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Medical Coder. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate coding for diagnoses and procedures. The role involves ensuring accuracy in coding to support the healthcare organization’s revenue cycle processes and compliance with regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coding patient records, working with healthcare professionals to clarify information, and ensuring that codes are accurately applied to billing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Coding and familiarity with Medical Terminology
• Minimum 3 years in E/M, Surgery, Radiology & Medicine
• Proficiency in Health Information Management and related processes
• AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) certification
• AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) certification
• Strong understanding of coding guidelines and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
