Mechanical Trainer Description

A Mechanical Trainer is responsible for educating and mentoring students or trainees in the field of Mechanical Engineering and related technologies. The role involves delivering theoretical knowledge along with hands-on practical training, ensuring learners acquire industry-relevant skills. The trainer is expected to develop training materials, conduct workshops, guide projects, and evaluate performance while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions in Mechanical Engineering subjects.
• Train students on core mechanical concepts such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, manufacturing processes, and machine design.
• Provide hands-on training in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, CREO, ANSYS, etc.) and mechanical tools.
• Develop course materials, training manuals, assignments, and assessments.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and guide them in academic and project work.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices, tools, and technologies to incorporate them into training modules.
• Ensure safety and compliance during practical workshops and lab sessions.
• Mentor students on career opportunities, internships, and industry trends.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM and simulation software.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
• Classroom and workshop management skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and student development.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Industry experience or teaching/training experience in the mechanical domain.
• Certification in CAD/CAM or specialized mechanical software (preferred).
