About the Role

hands-on Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer

PLC, SCADA, HMI, and AI-driven automation software

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and modify 

    mechanical assemblies

     for automation and inspection systems
  • Work with 

    linear motion systems

     (linear rails, actuators, belts, lead screws, motors, etc.)
  • Collaborate with automation engineers on 

    PLC, SCADA, and HMI-integrated systems

  • Support system integration involving 

    sensors, cameras, actuators, and control panels

  • Assist in prototyping, testing, debugging, and on-site commissioning
  • Read and interpret 

    mechanical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams

  • Ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and robust for industrial environments
  • Coordinate with software/AI teams to align hardware with automation logic and workflows
Required Skills & Experience
  • Degree/Diploma in 

    Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Automation

  • 1.5 – 3 years of hands-on experience in 

    industrial automation or machine building

  • Strong understanding of 

    mechanical design fundamentals

  • Practical experience with:
  • Linear rails, motion systems, and mechanical structures
  • Motors (stepper/servo), gearboxes, couplings
  • Sensors (proximity, photoelectric, encoders, etc.)
  • Basic working knowledge of 

    PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems

     (integration-level understanding)
  • Familiarity with 

    industrial assembly, troubleshooting, and field deployment

  • Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software)
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
  • Experience with 

    automation-driven inspection or AI-integrated hardware systems

  • Exposure to 

    CAD tools

     (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Fusion 360 or similar)
  • Understanding of pneumatics, basic electrical panels, or industrial safety standards
  • Willingness to travel for site installation or support when required
