Overview: We are seeking an experienced hardware engineer to design and prototype a compact electromechanical dispensing mechanism. The project involves creating a reliable single-item feed/dispense system integrated with sensors and control electronics. Key Responsibilities: Design and assemble a motor-driven feed mechanism for consistent single-item dispensing. Select and integrate DC/stepper motors, optical/photoelectric sensors, and control circuitry. Develop basic control logic (Arduino/PLC) and wiring diagrams. Ensure proper isolation for 12–24 V industrial signaling. Test and iterate for speed, accuracy, and reliability. Provide documentation for replication and future scaling.
