Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities at our Ahmedabad, Bavla manufacturing facility
The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime and improving production efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the mechanical maintenance team for smooth plant operations
Schedule, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, pumps, conveyors, and production lines Ensure all machinery operates efficiently, reducing downtime and increasing productivity Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and spare parts inventory Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize workflow Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals Familiarity with preventive maintenance and reliability improvement techniques Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance regulations

Soft Skills:

Leadership and team management skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education & Certifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
ITI or equivalent certification in mechanical maintenance (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum: 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including team supervision
Preferred: Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing industries
