Mechanical Fitter

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in a confectionery production facility, your primary responsibility is to conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment. This includes ensuring the optimal operational efficiency of various equipment such as mixing, depositing, enrobing, wrapping, and packaging lines while strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. - Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments on all production machinery to prevent breakdowns and maintain quality output. - Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, including replacing worn parts, adjusting machine settings, and performing minor repairs to restore equipment functionality. - Respond promptly to machinery malfunctions during production to minimize downtime and disruptions. - Apply knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical components relevant to confectionery machinery. - Interpret technical drawings and manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. - Identify and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and production efficiency. - Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery. - Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and possessing basic electrical knowledge. - Prior experience in a confectionery production environment is highly desirable. - Capable of analyzing issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective long-term solutions. - Meticulous approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.,
