Mechanical Fitter

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery used in the dehydration unit.
• Maintain equipment such as:
• Vibro washer
• Conveyor belts
• Blancher / slicer units
• Hot air dryer’s / tray dryers / solar dryers
• Pumps, blowers, gearboxes
• Packing machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Attend to breakdowns immediately to minimize downtime.
• Check and maintain alignment, lubrication, bearings, belts, and chains.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and inform shortages.
• Ensure proper safety practices during maintenance.
• Maintain daily maintenance logbook and report issues.
• Assist installation of new machines and commissioning activities
• Good Knowledge of Tools & Machines

Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical.
• 2–5 years’ experience in food processing / dehydration units preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, and fabrication
• Knowledge of DG Maintenance
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Computer knowledge

Additional Requirements

ü Ability to work in rotating shifts.

ü Physically fit to handle workshop tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
