Primax Equipment is looking to hire a part-time Mechanical Engineer with a good understanding of civil and road construction equipment as well as customised designs for steel fabrication. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of equipment used in the construction industry and will work closely with our production and design teams to improve product quality and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Support the design, development, and improvement of civil and road construction equipment Understand product requirements and industry standards Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues in production Read and interpret customised steel fabrication drawings and designs Suggest methods for improving equipment performance and efficiency Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and sales teams Maintain documentation, drawings, and technical specifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience or good understanding of civil and road construction equipment (preferred) Ability to read mechanical designs and schematics Strong problem-solving skills and practical approach Good organizational and time management skills Employment Type: Part-time On-site (Howrah factory)
