Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer based in Mysuru. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems and machinery used in tyre manufacturing. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing equipment diagnostics, improving production processes, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations will also be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical Design, CAD software, and Engineering Drawings
• Experience in Maintenance, Equipment Diagnostics, and Troubleshooting
• Understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Quality Assurance practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for process optimization
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in the tyre or automotive industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
